The BSMRM is trying a new approach to admission to our Open Houses and Wednesday Club Nights. This the result of our having a record turn-out at our March 2024 Open House due to extensive media coverage.
To minimize the wait that many of you experienced, and to make coming to an Open House more comfortable, we are now selling timed tickets for one hour time slots. Click the Book Now button to choose a time slot for the Special May 5th 2024 Train Show. We do not plan to sell tickets at the door. If you cannot pay on-line, we can make accommodation. The number of tickets for each time slot is limited and if they sell out, we will not offer any more. Your ticket is a donation to the BSMRM and all ticket sales are final; we do not have the resources to manage providing refunds or exchanges.
Please understand that we are testing this new system and that the November 2024 and March 2025 Open Houses are not yet available to book. After we try out this new ticketing system, we will post the other Open House announcements here.

Open House Train Shows
During Open House Trains Shows all three layouts in N, HO and O, plus Trolleys will be operating with multiple trains each. The layouts will be in top shape for you to view and it is a great time for people of all ages. Photography and videography are welcome. We regret that we are not accessible to people with disabilities (one flight of stairs).
Admission is $6 for adults and children 5 and older. Our new ticketing system does not allow for admitting children under 5 for free as we have done in the past, so there is a 25 cent charge for them to cover service fees. Please buy a ticket for everyone in your party -- we need to manage the number people admitted per hour due to limited capacity of the room. We do not plan to sell tickets at the door, so please book here.
REMEMBER: If with a General Membership to the BSMRM you get 8 free admissions to Open House events and early access to the Open House ticket sales before they are announced to the public.
