The Ralph L. Phillips Collection

The Ralph L. Phillips Collection is the once private collection of the notable Boston area railfan that the Bay State Model Railroad Museum became the caretakers for upon his passing.  The collection consists of over 2,000 book volumes covering railroads from around the world, as well as over 73,000 photographic slides.  These are all stored in the BSMRM’s Phillips Library at our museum building and are available to be viewed by appointment.  Many of the slides been to be posted on our museum page at Railroad Picture Archives bsmrrm.rrpicturearchives.net
